The Applied Diploma is designed for professionals working across the financial intelligence sector who wish to enhance their specialist expertise through a flexible, tailored selection of courses leading to a professional designation. SCHEDULE This Diploma requires the completion of 12 courses, which are selected via the course registration page. DELIVERY Each course is delivered online through a combination of self-paced learning materials and live or recorded instruction provided by subject experts. Assessments are set and marked by the academic team to ensure UK postgraduate standards are upheld. MATERIALS Course materials are made available through the Acwila online platform and ManchesterCF Financial Intelligence's Blackboard learning environment. STUDY TERM The Diploma is delivered across four 12-week terms. Participants may study up to three courses per term or take a reduced load and extend their study period to a maximum of 24 months. The preferred study length can be indicated on the registration form completed after payment. Standard study term dates: 2612: 30 November – 5 March 2703: 8 March – 4 June 2706: 7 June – 27 August 2709: 6 September – 26 November ASSESSMENTS Each course is assessed through two pieces of written assessment: an 1,800-word situation analysis and a 600-word best practice review. AWARD & PROGRESSION All twelve courses must be passed to achieve the award of Applied Diploma in Financial Intelligence. Successful completion leads to the Financial Intelligence Specialist (FIS) designation conferred by ManchesterCF Financial Intelligence.
