About
The Applied Diploma in Financial Intelligence is open to working professionals seeking to build broad, applied expertise across financial intelligence, risk, and compliance. This flexible, practitioner-led programme develops practical capability across key financial intelligence disciplines, including investigative, regulatory, and sector-relevant risk areas. Delivered over 12 courses, all selected by the participant, the diploma enables a fully customised learning experience aligned to individual professional interests and career focus. Each course combines ManchesterCF learning materials with expert instructor-led delivery by industry practitioners and is assessed and marked by an academic team to ensure consistency and alignment with UK postgraduate standards. The programme is delivered online across four 12-week terms. Participants may choose to study three courses in each term or reduce the number of courses taken and extend their overall study period to a maximum of 24 months, allowing full flexibility to balance study with professional commitments. The first term of study becomes available on the published programme start date. Successful completion leads to the award of the Financial Intelligence Specialist (FIS) designation, conferred by ManchesterCF.
