About

Understand financial intelligence in the context of environmental crime, including illegal trade in natural resources, pollution-related offences, and regulatory enforcement. The course examines investigative techniques and risk mitigation strategies. The course is scheduled over 12 weeks and is offered twice a year, with terms beginning in June and September. Learning is delivered through live interactive webinars facilitated by a subject expert, independent study, and a comprehensive module reader provided by ManchesterCF. The optional course assessment consists of two pieces: a situational analysis and a best practice approach. Taken individually through the Professional Development Route, this course leads to a certificate jointly issued by Acwila and ManchesterCF upon successful completion. Alternatively, available in Cluster 2, this course can be studied within the Advanced Diploma in Financial Intelligence and the Accelerated Diploma in Financial Intelligence, and may also count as one of the 12 courses for the Applied Diploma in Financial Intelligence.
