Environmental Crime

Combating environmental crime requires the effective use of financial intelligence from multiple sources. This course examines how financial institutions can identify and report suspicious transactions linked to illegal deforestation, hazardous waste dumping, and the illegal trade in protected species. Through case studies, examples, and red flags, participants learn to recognise financial patterns associated with environmental crime.

This 12-week course is delivered online with instructor-led delivery and assessed to UK postgraduate standards.

This is a required course on the Advanced Diploma and Accelerated Diploma, and can be chosen as part of the Applied Diploma. It can also be taken independently as an Individual Specialist Course.
