Wildlife Trafficking

The Wildlife Trafficking course examines suspicious financial patterns that may indicate involvement in the illegal wildlife trade. Developed in collaboration with The Royal Foundation United for Wildlife, the course uses detailed case studies, practical examples and key red flags to help participants identify potential indicators of wildlife trafficking.

Participants explore the links between wildlife trafficking and wider criminal networks and learn how financial institutions can detect, investigate and report suspicious activity to help disrupt these illicit operations.

This 12-week course is delivered online with instructor-led delivery and assessed to UK postgraduate standards.

This course is offered as an elective course on the Advanced Diploma and Applied Diploma. It may also be studied independently as part of the professional development route.
